A Celebration of Burns

Stirling Castle, 25 January 2014 to 26 January 2014

Rabbie Burns at Stirling Castle
Join us for our annual celebration of Scotland’s most famous and beloved bard.

We’ll be hosting special Burns tours that explore his visits to the castle and how they inspired his work (12pm & 2pm both days)

For younger visitors we’ll have “Burns for Bairns” which will feature works of Rabbie’s that children love including “To a Mouse” (2.15pm both days)

And in the Great Hall we’ll have our historical cook who’ll have a fine display of a Burns supper, exploring the ingredients and stories surrounding this famous feast.  There will also be a presentation about the making of whisky with the opportunity to sample a wee dram!

Time:
12pm - 4pm

Directions:
At the head of Stirling's historic Old Town off the M9, junction 9 or 10. Postcode FK8 1EJ. More property details can be found on the official Stirling Castle Website
