Publication scheme
The publication scheme (part of the wider Scottish Government Publication Scheme) describes the information that we publish, in what form it is published and details of any charges for providing the information.
The Scheme is intended to release as much information as possible, and to make it easy for you to locate the information you need.
The Scheme includes information on:
- Historic Scotland services
- The costs of Historic Scotland services
- The standards we reach in delivering our services
- The reasons for the decisions we make
Where possible, information published under this Publication Scheme is made available to download directly from this website in Adobe Portable Document Format (pdf).
The Scheme, which has recently been revised, was approved by the Scottish Information Commissioner and went live on 30 may 2008. We will continue to update the information in the Scheme and review it from time to time.
Information on charges relating to the publication scheme can be found
here.
A hard copy of the Scheme can be obtained by writing to the
Freedom of Information Officer.
