Sunnybrae Cottage

This modest cottage is possibly the oldest house in Pitlochry.

Sunnybrae Cottage is a rare survival of a type of house that was once very common in the Highlands.

Remarkably, it still has the remains of a cruck framed roof construction, with most of its last thatch still surviving beneath the later corrugated iron roof.
