Celebrate Mothers Day with a trip to Stirling Castle this weekend

26 March 2014

“A young, Queen of Scots snaps a selfie with her mother, Marie de Guise in James V’s Palace at Stirling Castle. This Sunday from 12-4pm the castle will be marking Mother’s Day with a series of activities looking at the roles of some of the powerful royal women who once lived there. The Power Behind the Throne will feature storytelling, crafts, food demonstrations and music.”
