Bringing 5000 years of history to lifeMedia Releases
Historic Scotland announce a line-up of living history events taking place at historic properties up and down the country. At castles, palaces and monuments across Scotland visitors will have the chance to come face to face with historic figures from the past including Mary Queen of Scots, Highland Clansmen, and Cromwellian Soldiers from the 1650s, and there will be the chance to enjoy medieval music and renaissance dance. Last year thousands of visitors joined in the fun and this year promises to be just as popular.

Historic Heroes Of ScotlandMedia Releases
Historic Scotland travel back to the times of Scottish legends Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots with a thrilling event being held at Bothwell Castle on Sunday 8 June. At Heroes of Scotland visitors will be taken on a journey to dramatic periods in Scotland’s past, when the nation faced times of uncertainty and unrest. Re-enactment groups Carrick 800 and Black Raven will lead the entertainment and bring Bothwell Castle to life medieval-style.

Historic Scotland at the hands of BruceMedia Releases
Historic Scotland announce details for a dramatic re-enactment event taking place at Dundonald Castle on Sunday 25 May. At the Hands of Bruce will see the castle taken over by Robert the Bruce and his men, taking visitors back to medieval times and a period of uncertainty and unrest in Scotland.
