Stirling Castle is a Five Star Attraction

Stirling Castle has yet again been ranked as one of the country’s best visitor attractions.
VisitScotland has renewed the castle’s coveted five-star status, marking it out as somewhere visitors can be confident of a warm welcome, excellent facilities and an super day out.
The assessments are made by mystery inspectors who turn up at attractions unannounced and only reveal their identity at the end.
The inspector’s report particularly praised the castle staff.
Gillian MacDonald, Stirling Castle visitor services and business development manager, said: “I am delighted that we have once again been awarded five star status, marking the castle out as one of Scotland’s top attractions.
“It is particularly pleasing that the efforts of our staff were so highly praised.
“They work very hard to make sure that visitors feel welcome at all times and do their very best to make sure that everyone has an enjoyable visit.
The inspector gave the castle 324 points out of a possible 360 (or 90%) and said that it was very well presented for the public.
