The Scottish Heritage Pass is a joint pass between Historic Scotland, the National Trust for Scotland and Discovering Distilleries. This pass is only available to travel trade. At Edinburgh Castle we can offer private room hire, pre-opening tours, Tattoo Hospitality or afternoon teas. Stirling Castle lends itself well to Medieval Banquets, pre-opening tours and evening tours.
Most of our sites are open all year round. Full details of opening times are published on our website and in our Explore Scotland guide. Our account holders can also be advised of any unexpected site closures. These can also be found on the Historic Scotland Twitter account (@welovehistory) under the hashtag #hsclosure.
Most of our printed tickets and passes now come with bar codes which allows your groups to go straight to the ticket scanning points at Edinburgh & Stirling Castles without having to queue at the ticket office. This is beneficial at Edinburgh Castle for example, where in the summer months Fast Track entry can save up to 45 minutes off your visit time.
