Historic Scotland 2012 Staff Survey
The results from the 2012 Civil Service People Survey for Historic Scotland have now been published.

The survey provides an insight into how we view our organisation and experiences of the workplace. This year, our engagement level has remained at 64 per cent, which continues to be six per cent higher than the Civil Service benchmark.
This puts Historic Scotland among the highest performers - we ranked 21 out of the 97 UK Civil Service organisations participating in the survey. Our Senior Management Team has already looked carefully at the results and are developing plans for more effective engagement and communication with the workforce.
Acting Chief Executive Ian Walford said: “The fact that more staff chose to complete the survey than last year - 47 per cent compared to 43 per cent – is very encouraging. I am delighted to see many positive improvements across so many areas, which have all contributed to Historic Scotland remaining a high performing organisation.”
