Quirky Quiz for Kids at Edinburgh Castle
13 February 2012
If you are wondering what to do with the kids at half-term, why not bring them to Edinburgh Castle?
During February and March, there is a special Quirky Quiz to help younger visitors to discover the bizarre side of Edinburgh Castle. The fun, fact-finding mission will turn your little explorers’ visit into an entertaining, interactive experience. They will even have the chance to win a uniquely quirky prize.
One lucky child, who gets all the answers right and whose name is picked from the hat, will win a giant Roary the lion, autographed by twin pop stars Jedward during their recent visit to the castle. Complete your contact details on the quiz and you might be the winner.
Nick Finnigan, Executive Manager of Edinburgh Castle said: “A day out at Edinburgh castle is good fun for all the family. Take part in our Quirky Quiz and you will find out about some of the castle’s hidden history with tales from wealthy jesters and executed golfers to cycling musicians and morris dancers.”
