Historic Scotland launches nationwide egg painting competition to create a Scottish LeggendChildren across Scotland are being invited to get their creative (egg) heads on over the next few weeks as part of a nationwide Easter competition organised by Historic Scotland. The ‘Create a Scottish Leggend’ competition will be launched at Edinburgh Castle on Thursday 22 March 2007, giving children just four weeks to turn an egg into one of their favourite historical characters or places.

Historic Scotland breaks three million visitor barrier

Art deco pool is a national architectural gem
