Orkney World Heritage Site Management Plan launchedMedia Releases
The future management of Orkney’s world famous Neolithic landscape was outlined yesterday (16 October) by Culture Minister Linda Fabiani. The management plan for the Heart of Neolithic Orkney World Heritage Site (WHS) sets out the significance of the UNESCO designated site.

Historic Scotland’s Regional Kids Go Free Drawing competition. Historic Scotland’s Kids Go Free month has been proving popular this year and a special drawing competition has been announced. Budding young artists are invited by Historic Scotland to draw their own version of one of our cartoon characters featured on our trails at our properties across Scotland. Drawings will then be entered into a gallery, with special regional runner-up prizes.
