Have the Fright of your life at Linlithgow Palace
6 October 2011
Are you brave enough to meet the United Ghosts of Linlithgow Yore, otherwise known as the U.G.L.Y brigade, who challenge you to take a nocturnal sojourn through the haunted remains of Linlithgow Palace, the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots?

Although visitors are encouraged to get into the spirit of things, they are warned that they must be prepared to pay the consequences should they disturb some of the Palace’s sleeping historical figures.
Gillian Urquhart, Assistant Events and Filming Manager at Historic Scotland said: “This is a brand new tour for 2011 based on the history of the Palace and its former residents. If you are not afraid of the dark and have nerves of steel, come along to Linlithgow Palace and try it out. You’ve nothing to fear, have you?”
She added: “This is not an experience for young children or the faint hearted!”
Ghost walks are taking place on
