The first ever Edinburgh Castle liveried taxis will be soon be seen on the streets of Edinburgh,  emblazoned with new artwork inviting people to visit Scotland’s number one paid-for heritage attraction.

And there are just five knights left to vote for Edinburgh Castle for the Top UK Heritage Attraction award in the prestigious British Travel Awards!

The castle - which was awarded the accolade in 2011 and 2012 - is the only Scottish heritage attraction on the short-list.

It is facing competition from the National Maritime Museum in Cornwall and the Titanic Belfast.

To vote please visit www.edinburghcastle.gov.uk website and press the ‘Vote Now’ button before voting closes on 30th September.
