Have you ever wondered how huge castles and abbeys were built? The Medieval Construction Science Show investigates the engineering behind Medieval buildings. Pupils take part in fun interactive demonstrations as they follow the journey of a block of stone from a quarry to the top of an arch, exploring basic science and technology principles such as gravity, forces, pulleys and arches, along the way. Shows can be adapted for P4-S1.
