How to find what is scheduled

There are two ways to locate scheduled monuments:


Current information on monuments contained in the Schedule is available from Historic Scotland’s data website.

Here you can download maps and copies of the legal documentation for each scheduled monument and our designation spatial datasets for GIS use, as well as find out about other types of designation, such as Listing.

Search by map on PASTMAP

PASTMAP is a website where you can display and search information on Scotland's historic environment.

• Displays the boundaries of scheduled monuments; download copies of legal schedules.
• Search by zooming into the map, selecting from a list of place names or by using postcodes.
