What are we working on now?
Work on the Inventory is managed within the Listing and Designed Landscapes Team at Historic Scotland.
We assess listings and Inventory proposals, maintain the Dictionary of Scottish Architects
and work on major thematic projects, often in partnership with stakeholders. Please see our listings project page
for an overview of the team’s current work.
We are currently developing a plan for our future work on the Inventory, focusing on how we make the resource as useful as possible.

One of our key projects in 2013-2014 is an update of the Inventory entry. It will be newly launched as an ‘Inventory record’ and will offer a more compact print version.
