The award winning Celebration of the Centuries will return to Fort George in 2014.
Set in one of the finest military fortifications in Europe, the flagship event of Historic Scotland’s event calendar celebrates over two thousand years of Scottish history.
Once again the Fort will come to life as over two hundred and fifty performers depict centuries of history from Picts and Romans, through Viking, Medieval, Renaissance, Reformation and Jacobite eras to World War I and II.
In 2014 this award winning event will have special emphasis on the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of WWI. With a cast of over 250 performers, the event will commemorate this turning point in world history.
