Good news for Dunlop Parish ChurchMedia Releases
The best remaining example of work by Scottish architect turned furniture maker JW Small is to get a new lease of life thanks to a £250,000 grant from Historic Scotland. Dunlop Parish Church contains the only major example of Small’s work known to survive intact with it’s collection of pulpits, galleries, pews, font and other woodwork in its interior.

New lease of life for Innerleithen Parish ChurchMedia Releases
nnerleithen’s Parish Church is to get a new lease of life thanks to a £125,000 grant from Historic Scotland. Originally designed by Thomas Pilkington in 1865, the existing church replaced an earlier parish church. It was comprehensively re-constructed in 1887 by James Macintyre Henry who reused many of the Pilkington details.
