New range of Edinburgh Castle branded goods goes on sale

Edinburgh Castle has launched a new range of specially-branded items offering a taste of Scotland’s premier paid-for visitor attraction.

Exclusive to the castle’s gift shops they will make delightful Christmas gifts and stocking fillers.

The range includes everything from chocolate bars, mugs, memo blocks and pens to shower-proof jackets.

Barbara Smith, Edinburgh Castle executive manager, said: “We are delighted to be selling this new range of goods using a contemporary lion’s head design – developed from the castle’s own Defender of the Nation logo.

“The castle is a great place to pick up some Christmas gifts, with a choice of three shops selling everything from quality gifts and jewellery to malt whiskies, books and children’s toys.”

Right now the entry prices for the castle are at a special off peak winter rate of £10.00, for adults, £7 for concessions and £5.00 for children.
