John Lowrie Morrison: Westlight - Northeastlight

Duff House, 31 August 2014 to 26 October 2014

Jolomo, one of Scotland’s most popular artists, presents a major exhibition of new paintings which compare and contrast the light of the North-east with the light of the West Coast. John, who is based in Argyll, has painted the West Coast for more than 40 years, but painted the North-east for the first time in 2007.

He has created an exhibition which celebrates the light and colours of both Scotland’s coasts, from the beaches and crofts of Islay and Harris to the lighthouses of Rattray Head and Buchan Ness and the villages of Crovie and Pennan.
