We're changing

We are creating a new public body, Historic Environment Scotland, which will come into effect from 1 October 2015. While we work on shaping our future we can reassure you that all services and products will continue as normal. We will continue to keep you up to date on developments. Please follow our progress and find out more about our new organisation.

Memories of Maritime Leith: Digital Stories

A community learning project inspired by the collections of Trinity House Maritime Museum. Four residents of Leith share their own accounts, memories and experiences of the city’s nautical history through special short-length films, capturing new insights into Edinburgh’s seafaring past, that you can watch below.

The Memories of Maritime Leith project was created in partnership with Historic Scotland, The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS) and The Living Memory Association. Find out more about Trinity House here www.trinityhouseleith.org.uk
