Find out more about archaeological artefacts found within Holyrood Park. Handle some ancient objects and discover the hidden stories behind them. Then take a walk to explore the places they were uncovered.

Time: 10.00am - 2.00pm

Cost: Free

Meeting Place: Holyrood Park Education Centre

Age: 16 years and over.

Grade: Moderate to Strenuous

Route: Dry Dam, The Summit, Ziggy Zaggy Path, Samson’s Ribs, Hunters Bog

Bring:  Warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear with good grips. A snack and a drink.

Toilets: At the Education Centre.

Parking: At the Broad Pavement Car Park. Sunday road closure mean that access to the car park is from Holyrood Road or the Scottish Parliament entrances only.

Disabled: The Education Centre is fully accessible, however the walk is not suitable for people with mobility problems
