Competitions are not open to employees of Historic Scotland, their immediate families, agents and anyone else connected with this promotion. No cash alternative is available. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Historic Scotland reserves the right to offer an alternative if the prizes offered are not available. Historic Scotland is not responsible for any entries which may be lost in transmission. Historic Scotland reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose competitions without prior notice in the event that unforeseen circumstances make this unavoidable.

To enter: The theme of this competition is "The Future of Food", and photographs need to be connected to this theme. For example, photographs could depict aspiring cooks, innovative recipes, creative food presentations, food selfies, food art, etc. Use the hashtag #HSEat on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook to share your photos with us. The deadline is midnight on Sunday 30th June 2015.
Traditional Afternoon Tea for two at Edinburgh Castle (includes entry to the castle). If the winner is overseas, the alternative prize of a goodie bag containing Historic Scotland retail products will be offered.
Historic Scotland employees and their families are not eligible to enter.
The competition will close at midnight on Tuesday 30th June 2015.
Any entries received after this time will not be eligible for the competition.
The winner will be notified by Twitter, Facebook or Instagram by 5pm on or before Monday 6th July.
Historic Scotland reserves the right to use the winner’s name in PR surrounding the competition, and to share submitted entries across Historic Scotland social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, Google + and Instagram.
Transport and accommodation are not included in the prize.
