About Gatehouse Suite
The 19th century Gatehouse is situated at the entrance of Edinburgh Castle and comprises of two adjoining apartments:
- The Court Martial Room - offers an ideal venue for smaller wedding ceremonies
- The adjoining Ante Room - available for drinks and canapés.
Private Terrace
Gatehouse Suite also offers access to a private terrace with views of The Royal Mile and The City of Edinburgh - providing a stunning backdrop for your wedding photographs.
Availability
Gatehouse Suite is available to hire for most of the year. It is not available during The Edinburgh Military Tattoo - in July and August.
Please note that the reception option available in the Gatehouse Suite is drinks reception only.
