Dirleton Castle is an impressive 12th century romantic property in the forefront of Scottish history, which today is most famous for its beautiful gardens.

Victorian and 1920s Arts and Crafts gardens have been re-created and include the world’s longest herbaceous border as testified by the Guinness Book of Records.

Ground level windows create beams of natural light into this long unusual vault providing an area of atmosphere.

Chapel
A small intimate room built for the private use of the Halyburton lords.

Great Hall (open air)
The largest area situated in the heart of the castle with a grand dais overlooking the splendid gardens.
