Historic Scotland is committed to working with production partners to ensure that Scotland is perceived as a desirable destination for locations and film production.

The agency has developed close working relationships with Scottish Screen and the network of organisations involved in promoting Scotland as a filming destination.

It also has an excellent track record in working with film-makers to accommodate their requests, whilst ensuring that visitors to its properties and sites are not inconvenienced, and their expectations of visits to these wonderful historic attractions are not comprised by ongoing filming.
