Edinburgh Castle Themed Package

Edinburgh Castle offers a unique venue set in the heart of Scotland’s capital city with a choice of facilities available for private dining.

The contemporary Jacobite Room offers excellent views overlooking the city of Edinburgh. The room can accommodate up to 100 guests.

Historic Queen Anne Building located within the heart of the castle has a maximum dining capacity of 120 guests.

Reception

On arrival guests are welcomed into Edinburgh Castle by a piper and the flaming torches will be lit for the arrival of guests. During pre-dinner drinks, guests can experience a private viewing of the Honours of Scotland exhibition which houses the Scottish Crown Jewels and the Stone of Destiny.

Dinner and Entertainment

Guests are piped into the Jacobite Room or Queen Anne Room for the Scottish dinner.

A chieftain haggis is ceremoniously piped in, addressed and guests are asked to toast the haggis. A clarsach player entertains throughout dinner.

The spectacular beating retreat as the grand finale, performing in Crown Square or adjacent to the One o’Clock Gun is guaranteed to end the evening on a high note.
