Fun and Games at the Castle

Stirling Castle, 14 October 2013 to 20 October 2013

Stirling Castle
Children have always played games. Learn about some of the games that would have been played by the children who lived here at the castle in the past. Have a go, have things changed?

The Great Hall will have a display based on a Brueghel painting showing children at play in the sixteenth century and identifying some of the games.

Visitors will have a go at things like diablo, knucklebones (jacks) and spinning tops.

Time:
From midday.

Directions:
At the head of Stirling's historic Old Town off the M9, junction 9 or 10. Postcode FK8 1EJ. More property details can be found on the official Stirling Castle Website

The event is included in the admission price to Stirling Castle
