Holyrood Park
The second of two presentations focusing on the geology of Holyrood Park.  Join a Ranger on a 3 hour moderate graded guided walk to discover how the landscape of Holyrood Park has been shaped and sculpted by ice through the ages. Explore areas of the Park to learn how to identify distinctive land features left by glaciers.

Time: 9.00 am - 12 noon.

Meeting Place: Holyrood Park Education Centre

Route: Hunter’s Bog/Crags/St. Anthony’s Chapel area, Low Road. This may be subject to change.

Bring: Warm, waterproof clothing and sensible footwear (with grips). A snack and drink.

Toilets: At the Education Centre.

Suitability: Not suitable for disabled – rough tracks/steep inclines. May not be suitable for children under 8 years.

Parking: At Broad Pavement Car Park. At the Broad Pavement Car Park. Sunday road closure mean that access to the car park is from Holyrood Road or the Scottish Parliament entrances only.

Disabled: Not suitable for disabled – rough tracks/steep inclines.
