Orkney Venus

The Orkney Venus is the oldest representation of a human form ever found in Scotland and shows the earliest depiction of a face from anywhere in the UK. This tiny stone carving, found during an excavation by Historic Scotland on the island of Westray, has caused enormous interest among archaeologists.
