St Peters Seminary, Cardross - Conservation Assessment
Built in the 1960s to great acclaim, St Peter’s Seminary at Cardross is one of Scotland’s most important 20th Century buildings. Unfortunately, the educational complex has lain empty since the 1980s following structural changes within the Church.
Despite many attempts, a new use has never been found for the building in its superb landscape setting.. In partnership with Historic Scotland and Argyll and Bute Council, the site’s owners, the Archdiocese of Glasgow, commissioned a report from Avanti Architects to assess the building’s condition and potential future use.
