Historic Scotland has a small sponsorship fund, which is used to support various non-recurring heritage related events throughout the year.

Who can apply?

The fund supports many diverse projects such as the sponsorship of conferences and the costs associated with producing publications.

Criteria for awarding grants

Applications that meet Historic Scotland’s agreed priorities are considered three times a year (April, August and December) and decisions informed shortly thereafter. However, we would not expect recipients of grant under any other stream of grant assistance from Historic Scotland to apply to the sponsorship fund.
