Energy efficiency, research, guidance and advice

The Scottish Government has set out its proposals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the Scottish Climate Change Bill. Historic Scotland is committed to reducing emissions at its sites; as well  providing advice to others on the sustainable management of buildings and energy efficiency in traditional buildings.
