Reflections of Jedburgh Abbey in Glass Work Exhibition

5 April 2013

Come along to an exhibition of glass work inspired by the spectacular beauty of Jedburgh Abbey.

Created by artists-in-residence, the exhibition is now taking place at the Jedburgh Abbey Visitor Centre until Monday 27th May 2013.

There will also be an opportunity to hear from the artists, Inge Paneels, artist and glass maker, Rachel O’Dell, glass specialist and Amy Neville, mixed media artist, who will be giving a talk about their work and their experiences at  Jedburgh Abbey Visitor Centre on Saturday 13th April 2013, from 2:00 - 3:00 pm.

The talk is free and entry to the exhibition is included in the normal admission fee.

Elaine Johnston, Learning Development Officer at Historic Scotland said: ‘It has been a fascinating experience to see how the historic setting of Jedburgh Abbey  has helped to inspire and form the different glass works.

“This project has been really well received and I would definitely recommend that people book online to attend the talk, as numbers are limited.”
