Enjoy christmas at Duff House
7 December 2012
Duff House is offering a special Christmas menu in the run up to the big day.
Starting from Thursday 13th December, visitors can choose from a festive offering including individual pots of winter vegetable chilli or ham hock with cranberry dumplings to smoked turkey toasted on artisan bread.
The house will continue to offer its popular afternoon teas, with seasonal inspired cakes including warm mince pies with clotted cream and Christmas chocolate truffle pudding.
Visitors can also get into the Christmas spirit with a Non Alcoholic Xmas Punch combining Heather Honey, Cranberry, Orange and Christmas spices.
Rachel Kennedy, Manager at Duff House said;
“This is the first time we have created a Christmas menu and its very much designed to give visitors the chance to celebrate in style.
“The House is a lovely place to get away from all the hectic Christmas preparations and enjoy a catch up over afternoon tea, or celebrate the Christmas festivities with friends, family or colleagues.
“The menu has been designed to give visitors the flexibility to have one course or two or three depending on the time that they have available – and the occasion – and we very much hope they enjoy our Christmas classics with a contemporary twist!
Duff House’s winter opening hours are 11am-4pm, Thursday- Sunday. There is free admission to the newly refurbished tearoom and shop. For parties of 10 or more in the tearoom we would recommend making a reservation on 01261 813004.
