The mighty Edinburgh Castle which dominates the city skyline, has played an important role throughout Scotland’s history and today is home to the Scottish Crown Jewels and the Stone of Destiny.
QUEEN ANNE ROOMThe Queen Anne room is situated in Crown Square at the heart of Edinburgh Castle. It can be hired at certain times of the year during Castle opening hours for lunches, meetings or presentations or year-round for evening events. The room offers a majestic banqueting venue with pre-dinner drinks served in the adjoining courtyard. An exclusive private viewing of the Scottish Crown Jewels is included in evening hire.
JACOBITE ROOMThe Castle's contemporary style Jacobite Room provides a flexible venue for a range of events. Guests can enjoy an aperitif in the adjoining Redcoat Room before dinner or use both rooms together for a buffet or reception. With superb views over the Edinburgh skyline, together with the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive viewing of the Scottish Crown Jewels and Stone of Destiny as well as the finest Scottish cuisine and entertainment, guests are assured of an unforgettable evening.
GATEHOUSE SUITEThe 19th century Gatehouse Suite is located at the entrance of Edinburgh Castle. These rooms offer a luxurious setting for small meetings and seminars. The venue is available to hire both during the day and in the evening and is popular for small dinners, receptions and whisky tastings.
CROWN BANQUETOn arrival guests will be greeted with a traditional welcome from our piper at the castle drawbridge. He will then lead the guests into the castle lower ward and onwards into the heart of the castle. This all-inclusive package includes a, drinks and canapés reception, 3-course gala dinner, a private viewing of the Scottish Crown Jewels, entertainment and an on-site event manager.
SCOTTISH BANQUETThe Scottish Banquet at Edinburgh Castle is an experience to remember. Upon arrival at the drawbridge, your guests will be greeted with a traditional piper's welcome. He will then lead the guests into the heart of the castle to begin their evening of world famous Scottish hospitality. A spectacular finale will draw the evening to a close. A pipe band will perform a medley of traditional Scottish pieces. Guests are then invited to follow the band out of the castle. This package includes flaming torches on arrival, a drinks reception, four-course Scottish -themed dinner, table décor, entertainment and an on-site events manager
MILITARY TATTOO HOSPITALITYThe world famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is an annual global gathering showcasing the talents of musicians and performers from around the world. High above the skyline of Scotland's capital, on the floodlit Castle esplanade, the Tattoo is a stunning international spectacle of music, ceremony, entertainment and theatre.
