Do you teach through Gaelic Medium Education or have Gaelic learners in your class?

Historic Scotland supports Gaelic speakers and learners through a variety of projects up and down the country such as our Junior Tour Guides Scheme at Arnol Blackhouse and Gaelic Schools Week at Edinburgh Castle. Many of our free downloadable resources are now available in Gaelic. Check the list below for current titles. Gaelic Learning Resources

Pupils from Edinburgh’s Gaelic School have produced two films about Edinburgh Castle for Gaelic learners. Get transported back in time to the 16th Century and learn some new Gaelic words and phrases whilst learning about life in the castle at the time of Mary Queen of Scots! Watch the films here:
