Forestry Commission
Historic Scotland and Forestry Commission Scotland have signed a new agreement aimed at maximising efforts to manage and interpret Scotland’s historic environment.
The first ever joint working agreement between the two organisations highlights our commitment to work closer together in support of the Scottish Government’s aims.
The agreement was signed last week by Ruth Parsons and Bob McIntosh, Director of Forestry Commission Scotland.
Ruth said: “We look forward to working with Forestry Commission Scotland to build on an already strong working relationship.
“This is the start of a valuable working partnership with the common goal of looking after all aspects of the historic environment within Scotland's forests for future generations.”
