Architecture of Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park and the Cairngorms National Park
Historic Scotland celebrates the architectural heritage of our national parks with two richly illustrated booklets.
Following the creation of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and the Cairngorms National Park the listing team in Historic Scotland’s inspectorate undertook a resurvey of these renowned scenic areas.
During the resurveys we encountered a rich architectural heritage and as a result a number of buildings were added to the list of buildings of special architectural or historic interest.
We have celebrated the distinctive heritage of the parks in two richly illustrated booklets which explore the themes we encountered.
