New Data Website
Our
new data website brings together our GIS and Scheduled Monuments data in one place making it easier for you to search, view and download our information online. The new website offers improved design and enhanced features. As the data can be used for private or commercial purposes, the website does not require a login.
New data website
New features at a glance
- Enhanced Scheduled Monuments area with advanced search facility where you can also filter and sort results. You can also view/download legal documents relating to each designation in PDF. An electronic copy of ‘The Schedule’ (previously available as a printed booklet only) is also available for download.
- Dedicated GIS download area to access spatial data on Listed Buildings, Scheduled Monuments, Designated Wrecks, Gardens & designed landscapes and our Properties in Care. Two new additions include Conservation Areas and Historic Land Use datasets. These are provided by the local authorities and the Royal Commission for Ancient and Historic Monuments of Scotland respectively.
The website is released as an open beta version (a working ‘preview’) so we hope to add further improvements. We will also be developing a listed building search facility to add to the data website.
