Fragments of Blue: Under One Sky

Photographs from Fragments of Blue, the first in a series of concerts inspired by the ancient Hawick Missal Fragment held in July 2013.

The evening began with a concert at Jedburgh Old and Trinity church staging both the new composition and the original music from the fragment. Video, imagery and sound came together to animate the story of the Fragment. The evening then progressed to Jedburgh Abbey to experience the art installation set against a musical background with another stirring performance from the choir group.

Tickets are now on sale for the next in the series, Fragments of Red, at Melrose Abbey on April 5 2014 – if you want to be at the World Premiere of new work by celebrated composer Grayston Ives, click here: http://ow.ly/usy69
